Where are the chop sticks when you need them?
Yield: 4 servings
1 | teaspoon | olive oil | |

1 1/2 | pounds | top sirloin steak cut into bite size cubes | |

|||
1 | cup | celery, chopped | |
|
|||
1 | cup | onion, chopped | |
|
|||
Salt (to taste) | |||
|
|||
Pepper (to taste) | |||

|||
1 1/2 | cups | water | |
|
|||
3 | Tablespoons | soy sauce | |
|
|||
2 | Tablespoons | granulated sugar | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | molasses | |
|
|||
Cornstarch | |||
|
|||
Rice, cooked according to directions on the package | |||

Heat olive oil in large skillet or stir fry pan. Brown steak with celery and onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add water, soy sauce, sugar and molasses and bring to a boil.
In a separate container, combine cornstarch with a little water; blend until smooth. Add a little at a time to steak mixture to thicken.
Serve over hot rice.
