1 | tablespoon | grated lemon zest | |

1 1/2 | cups | granulated sugar | |

1/4 | cup | flour | |
|

1 | teaspoon | baking powder | |

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
For topping:
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest.
Combine the granulated sugar, flour and baking powder. Stir into the egg mixture. Pour over crust.
Bake for 25 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
