A sprinkling of slivered almonds complete this easy to prepare dish
Yield: Serves 6
1/4 | cup | butter | |

1/2 | cup | Regina Cooking Sauterne | |
|
|||
1/8 | teaspoon | pepper | |
|
|||
1 | tablespoon | dried parsley flakes | |
|
|||
2 | lbs. | white fish fillets ( sole, flounder, haddock ) | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | slivered almonds | |
|
|||
1 | tablespoon | butter or margarine | |
|
Melt butter in large skillet. Stir in Sauterne, pepper and parsley. Place fish in pan. Spoon sauce over fish.
Simmer, covered 5 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove fish to warm platter.
Boil sauce until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce over fish. Saute almonds in tablespoon of butter until golden and sprinkle over fish.
