3/4 | cup | packed brown sugar | |

1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |

3 | cups | flour | |
|
|||
1 | Tablespoon | baking powder | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | ground allspice | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | ground cloves | |
|
|||
1 | cup | milk | |
|
|||
3 | cups | peeled apple slices | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
|
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Spray 13 x 9- inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Cream butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, allspice and cloves. Alternately mix flour mixture and milk with sugar mixture; mix well after each addition.
Pour into prepared baking pan. Arrange apples on batter, sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar and cinnamon (that's been stirred together).
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
