1 | pound | tomatoes, sliced 1/4- inch thick | |

1 | ounce | balsamic vinegar | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | fresh basil leaves, packed | |
|
|||
12 | ounces | sliced mozzarella cheese | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | dried oregano | |
|
|||
Salt to taste | |||
|
|||
Pepper to taste | |||
|
|||
2 | Tablespoons | olive oil | |
|
On a large platter, arrange sliced tomatoes. Drizzle with vinegar. Sprinkle basil over tomatoes. Place sliced cheese over top of tomatoes. Sprinkle oregano, salt and pepper on cheese and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with breadsticks if desired.
