1 | pound | sirloin steak, cooked and cut into long thin strips | |

1 | package | taco seasoning mix | |
|
|||
1/2 | cup | water | |
|
|||
6 | (8 inch) flour tortillas | ||
|
|||
1/2 | of a | red onion, sliced thin, cut in half and separated | |
|
|||
1 | tomato, cut into wedges | ||
|
|||
2 | cups | lettuce, shredded | |
|
|||
2 | cups | (8 ounces) cheddar cheese, shredded (optional) | |
|
|||
lime wedges (optional) | |||
|
In a large skillet, bring water to a boil. Stir in taco seasoning and reduce heat.
Add cooked strips of steak, stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes.
Warm tortillas as directed on package. Place seasoned steak onto tortillas and top with lettuce, tomato wedges and strips of red onion.
If desired, squeeze a fresh lime wedge over the meat and add shredded cheese.
