1/3 | cup | Essential Everyday Pure Vegetable Oil | |

4 | cloves | garlic, crushed | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | ground ginger | |
|
|||
1/2 | teaspoon | Essential Everyday Ground Black Pepper | |

1 | teaspoon | Essential Everyday Salt | |

1 | cup | Essential Everyday Light Brown Sugar | |

1/2 | cup | Essential Everyday Tomato Ketchup | |

1/2 | cup | Essential Everyday Soy Sauce | |
|
Place chicken legs, oil, garlic, ginger, pepper and salt in a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; seal bag. Toss to coat. Place in refrigerator and marinate 4-24 hours, tossing occasionally.
Prepare grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place chicken legs on grill. Grill, turning often, until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F on a food thermometer (about 20-25 minutes).
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine sugar, ketchup and soy sauce. Baste chicken generously with sauce during last 5 minutes of cooking. Turn often to prevent burning.
